Jagjit Bhathal is counsel to the firm in family
law and matrimonial matters. Mr. Bhathal graduated
Summa Cum Laude from McMaster in 1993 with a 3
year B.A. in Economics, and received his law degree
from the University of Toronto Law School in 1996.
Before being called to the bar in 1998, he articled
for a boutique commercial litigation firm in Toronto.
His main areas of practice is matrimonial law,
complemented with his continuing involvement in
commercial and civil litigation.
Mr. Bhathal offers services in preparing, reviewing
and advising with respect to all forms of domestic
agreements (marriage, cohabitation and separation
agreements), and regularly appears in both the
Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of
Justice on contested matters involving divorce,
custody, support, property and enforcement issues.
His commitment to providing objective and cost
effective solutions through negotiation and mediation
